FORT WORTH, TX. - An old American Airlines building was demolished in Texas on Friday.
Crews imploded the structure to make way for the airline's new headquarters.
Demolition experts spent six months preparing for the big event.
Tempe served as headquarters for both America West and then US Airways before merging with the new American Airlines.
