LEBANON, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a helicopter crash at a central Pennsylvania airport left one person with a minor injury.
Emergency officials in Lebanon County said the crash was reported shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday at Deck Airport in Jackson Township.
The Lebanon Daily News reported that according to EMA dispatch reports a woman was uninjured and a man had a minor cut on his arm.
Trooper David Beohm, a state police public information officer, said the woman was an instructor who was teaching the man how to pilot the aircraft.
He said "They were doing a maneuver and had to go in for a hard landing."
The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate. A representative said Wednesday that no information was being released.
Officials said the airport would be closed for 48 hours.
