(ADW) Luxembourg’s international business and private jet airline Luxaviation, currently with 1,600 employees, has just announced that it is expanding into India for the first time.
Luxaviation is an important player as an international business airline. The group has 250 business jets and is also established in the handling and maintenance business with a total of 34 locations.
The announcement of expansion into India was made on Thursday. Indira Gandhi Airport in New Delhi is to become a maintenance and repair service centre for Luxaviation.
Patrick Hanzen, head of Luxaviation emphasised that this was, "a decisive step in developing activities in Asia, where business aviation is experiencing impressive growth rates".
