NEW YORK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Wheels Up commemorated the purchase of a plane sporting a unique pink paint scheme that will to support the Dublin Breast Center at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City on Thursday, August 27.
Wheels Up company founder and CEO Kenny Dichter told several hundred aviation employees at a ceremony this weekend that the company hopes to raise more than $1 million with the pink Beechcraft King Air 350i in the next year.
This will come from Wheels Up monetary donations in addition to solicitations of its members and business partners.
The plane’s deployment comes in time to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.
