MILWAUKEE - A plane which took off from Mitchel International turned around and made an emergency landing after some sort of issue on the plane.
Delta Flight 771 to Atlanta took off during the 6:00 a.m. hour Thursday morning.
Spokeswoman Pat Rowe told Newsradio 620 WTMJ and TODAY'S TMJ4 that an "indicator" went off in the cockpit, leading to the emergency landing.
The plane returned to a gate at the airport. Initial reports say no one was hurt.
Unconfirmed reports into TODAY'S TMJ4 said that there was smoke in the cockpit, and 100 passengers were on board. Later, those reports stated there was no fire on the plane.
Mitchell International officials did not confirm those reports.
