Two Ryanair flights diverted

IRELAND's aviation regulator last night said it has no concerns about Ryanair's safety record after it was forced to divert twice at the weekend due to technical problems.

A flight from Bristol to Barcelona and another from Paris to Tenerife were diverted following technical problems. In both cases, the diversion resulted in minor delays and "emergency services were neither requested nor required", Ryanair said.
