FERN PARK, Fla. - A seaplane crashed into a boat on a Seminole County lake, but no one was injured.
The incident happened at 8 p.m. Tuesday on Prairie Lake in Fern Park, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said.
Witnesses said the aircraft hit the boat during a landing attempt, according to deputies.
Two people on the boat were not injured, and although the plane was damaged, it landed in the water safely.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
Prairie Lake is a popular lake for seaplanes and boaters, and deputies said it can be tricky for pilots to land seaplanes on the lake.
