OWNERS of horses coming from the Caribbean for the upcoming million-dollar racing Festival on December 3 will get free air transportation courtesy Caribbean Airlines, while horses flying in from Canada and the USA will receive a subsidy of $2,000.
Officials of Caribbean Racing Promotions Ltd (CRPL), the body which has been set up to organise the day’s racing, expect some 40 horses from Barbados, Jamaica and St Kitts to taken entry in the proposed 10-race card.
Martinique will not be taking part.
