Shortly after 10:15 local time, Cessna 188 departed KVDF to the north. Five minutes later it landed on Bruce B Downs Blvd just east of the I-75 intersection. No injuries have currently been reported. Other than a flat tire (possibly from hitting a curb), the aircraft appears undamaged.

A bit of information on the aircraft. It sprays insecticide over Tampa to help control mosquitoes. It's not something the city advertises since a lot of people probably wouldn't like the idea of an airplane discretely spraying insecticide over their property.

Before the emergency landing today, the aircraft also flew on Wednesday October 27th where it spent more than 6 hours spraying insecticide over Tampa:

The pilot did an excellent job landing the airplane without injuring anyone on the ground.
