  1. Quartering tailwind, brakes and a slow motion tip over. Wing raised and no control authority left to bring it down.YouTube has it.Things happen.

    1. With a Stearman with stock ailerons the ONLY option on pavement with a crosswind like that is to wheel land and keep the tail up until almost stopped. At least they weren't far from hope unlike the poor guy from CA who trashed the Stearman at Baraboo.
