I'm the owner and pilot of this aircraft. The mixture cable came detached in flight at 7500' MSL, and I was able to land safely at Bowling Green with complete loss of power. I did not have sufficient altitude to circle to land, and had too much altitude and speed to bleed off to make the runway. So, I landed fast and overran the runway end by about 375'.
