Beech 1900C, N191TV: In-flight lightning strike(s), incident occurred on July 28, 2018



AIRCRAFT: 1986 Beech 1900C N191TV, s/n: UB64

The last Inspection was accomplished on 05/18/2018 at 23,779.9 AFTT

The airframe total time is reportedly 23,868.2.  Current HOBBS: 3460.1

ENGINE:  PT6A-65B, RH s/n: PCE-32171, LH s/n: PCE-97380

The last phase inspection completed on both engines on 05/18/2018 at

RH Engine:  23,040.3 TTSN / 32,118 TCSN

LH Engine:  20,776.6 TTSN / 26,999 TCSN




PROPELLER:   Hartzell HC-B4MP-3A, RH s/n: FWA-2289, LH s/n: FWA-2776,

The last inspections completed on both props on 05/18/2018 at 23,779.9 AFTT, 238.9 TSO.

The current propeller times are synced, 327.2 TSO.

The propellers are removed from the aircraft and stored onsite.

DESCRIPTION OF ACCIDENT:  In flight lightning strike(s) on 07/28/2018. 

The aircraft sustained lightning damage in flight.  Damage includes but may not be limited to both propellers and engines, as well as areas of the fuselage, wings, empennage and control surfaces. LOCATION OF AIRCRAFT:  The aircraft is stored in a private hangar with access for disassembly and loading,  Craig Airport (KCRG), Jacksonville, Florida
