SAN ANTONIO — A small private aircraft arriving here in San Antonio from Monterrey, Mexico ran into some trouble.
The plane landed safely at about 3:15pm Friday, but a landing gear malfunction caused the plane to skid off the runway on its belly.
Crews at the airport used a crane to move the plane out of the runway area for maintenance. No commercial flights were delayed by the incident.
The aircraft was carrying the pilot and four passengers.
No injuries were reported.
