Threat evacuates Textron Aviation building

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -  Some Textron employees were evacuated Thursday morning due to a threat to one of the planemaker's buildings.

A security officer tells KAKE's Chris Frank a threat was called in at around 8:45 a.m. Employees in the Prospect Building near K-42 and Hoover were evacuated as a precaution. 

The building is primarily a warehouse and not directly involved with plane manufacturing.

Specifics of the threat were not released, and a Textron spokesperson said no device has been found.

There was a similar threat to the same building made in November of last year.
