TRAVERSE CITY — A Traverse City man will serve two months in jail for a jaunt inside a Cherry Capital Airport deicing truck.
Nico Delgado, 21, appeared last week for sentencing before 13th Circuit Court Judge Philip Rodgers.
Traverse City police in January arrested Delgado on Garfield Road at which time they found the keys to a deicing truck in his pocket.
Authorities believe Delgado got onto airport property and sat in the truck, where an employee saw him, before running away.
Delgado eventually pleaded guilty to charges of trespassing at an airport and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Rodgers sentenced Delgado to two months in Grand Traverse County's jail and 24 months of probation.
