Feb 26, 2016- Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ananda Prasad Pokharel has directed single-engine aircraft not to carry passengers.
The minister issued such directive in the wake of single-engine aircraft Air Kasthamandap’s accident in Kalikot district on Friday.
“I have directed the single-engine aircraft to not carry passengers until a technical report comes out,” Minister Pokharel told the Post.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) had already barred the single-engine aircrafts from carrying passengers.
