Aviation professional buys home in Wilmington, Delaware, for $2.5 million

Regis A. DeRamel bought a four-bedroom, six-bath home at 2207 Old Kenneth Road in Wilmington from Charles Beard and Caroline V.K. Beard for $2.5 million on March 16.

The 3,517-square-foot home was built in 1930.

DeRamel is an aviation industry professional and currently the co-owner of Advanced Aircraft, an aircraft factory authorized service center. He co-founded several aviation related businesses including Air Newport and Stratus Alliance. He has also worked for Cirrus Design, a manufacturer of small planes, and has background in commercial real estate investment and management.

He currently serves on the boards of F.H. Prince & Co., Gould Academy and Oliver Hazard Perry Education at Sea.

Regis is a graduate of Washington College.
