Come back tomorrow, passengers told

Passengers coming to airport to board a domestic flight in Saudi Arabia were told by the carrier’s employees to come back the next day because of a technical problem in the aircraft, press reports said on Sunday.

The passengers gathering at the airport in the eastern port of Dammam to fly to the capital Riyadh on Wednesday were told by Saudia staff that the plane would not be able to take off and that there was no replacement.

“Can you believe it….they could have at least informed us by phone…they appeared not bothered about our plight and simply said ‘please come back tomorrow,” passenger Badr Hamoud told Sabq newspaper.
