This is the same idiot who forgot to switch tanks doing T&G's in Pompano back in Feb, 2009, https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/fl-xpm-2009-02-21-0902210137-story.html and put it smack down in the middle of a small golf course lake at end of runway 6! Wish the picture was still available of him standing and stranded on the wing with his flight bag in hand waiting to be rescued...then this crash was an aborted T.O. from runway 10, buzz around the field is not only is the guy a Moron, doesn't fly regularly and the plane's maintenance was in question. Just before this crash he asked a lineman to come to his hanger for fuel, said he had a fuel leak so the lineman thought it was to troubleshoot, only to see him T.O. and crash??? I think the FAA needs to reexamine this one!
