P-51 Replica: Accident occurred October 27, 2018 near Valkaria Airport (X59), Brevard County, Florida

Yet another airplane made a rough landing in Brevard County Saturday afternoon.

For the third time in as many weeks, an aircraft has come down when it wasn't supposed to — this time in Valkaria near the Valkaria airport, according to Brevard County Fire Rescue.

The pilot of the P-51 Replica plane was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries after the crash just after 3 p.m.

The cause of the wreck was not immediately determined.

Not even three weeks ago, a small aircraft flown by a student pilot and flight instructor experienced a mechanical issue that caused it to make a rough landing in Titusville along State Road 407. Both occupants were uninjured.

A few days after that, a small airplane landed in south Melbourne Beach for unknown reasons. Nobody was injured in that crash either.
