Aviation Museum Gets 18-Thousand Dollar Donation

A man, who fought for our country in World War ll, is continuing to give back.

Selden Bailey, a retired U.S. Army Colonel, has donated stocks to the Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker.

The value is close to 18 thousand dollars.

The museum is putting the money toward an expansion of the building.

"Phase two of the museum which is construction of a new facility. It will add on to this facility, connect around the back side and it will be to display the technology of the Army aviation today." Executive committee of the museum foundation Dave Swank said.

This is the largest donation the museum has ever received.
