KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - FedEx is donating an airplane to the Kansas City Aviation Department.

After the Boeing 727-200F makes its final landing Wednesday at Kansas City International Airport, it will be used to train firefighters and airport police.

Plans call for the plane to be located on the aircraft parking apron at the KCI Overhaul Base. FedEx had used the plane for 20 years.
