Virgin America: Flight From Orlando Makes Emergency Stop. Plane Stops In Houston After Possible Fire.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A nonstop flight from Orlando to Los Angeles made an emergency stop Tuesday night when the crew feared there could have been a fire on board.

The Virgin America flight made an emergency landing in Houston.

Former Orlando radio personality Jayde Donovan tells WESH 2 she had a friend on the flight.

Donovan said the passengers did not see any flames, but emergency vehicles did meet the plane on the Houston runway.

A flight from New York was re-routed to take those passengers to California.

The airline has not commented on the incident. No one was hurt.
