Pet Airways Inc. is now operating as a subsidiary of its newly-named parent company The PAWS Pet Company, according to a recent company statement.
The PAWS Pet has relocated its corporate headquarters from Delray Beach to San Jose, Calif, but Pet Airways will maintain operations in South Florida, a company official said.
The PAWS Pet has plans to offer a wider range of services.
"With Pet Airways as our cornerstone in the market, we plan to roll out new value-added pet services to the pet parent community," PAWS Pet Chief Executive Officer Dan Wiesel said.
Pet Airways operates pet-only flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and several other airports around the country.
