ReplyDeleteNo ground personnel to direct in a medical flight? This is a regional airport where Botique Air flies into (PC-12 ironically) and it averaged 35 12,000 flights a year at last FAA report some years ago. Something seems wrong here to leave a single pilot who can't see out the right side for wing clearance. The pilot is still to blame however. When in doubt about wing parking clearance and you can't see and have no help outside. Shut it down there on the ramp and get help. Big fail on the airport personnel too.
ReplyDelete**Update before posting** I just read a few private pilot reviews from last year. Apparently the airport crew here are very slack. There is no FBO. Flight ops and ground services are managed by the city and not manned full time. Enough said.
^^averaged 35 12,000 flights --- should read "averaged 12,000 flights..."
