WESLEY CHAPEL, Florida (WFLA) - Authorities say no one was injured Friday when a plane flipped over while trying to land in Pasco County.
Pasco Fire Rescue was called to a reported aircraft emergency at Tampa North Flight Center in Wesley Chapel just before 3 p.m.
According to firefighters, a 26-year-old pilot in a Cessna called into the airport to report an emergency landing. The plane then flipped on landing.
Fire rescue officials say the pilot was the only person on the plane at the time. The 26-year-old was not injured and did not want to be taken to the hospital.
Authorities have not released any information on what may have caused the plane to flip.

At approximately 2:50 p.m., Pasco County Fire Rescue responded to a reported aircraft emergency at Tampa North Flight Center in Wesley Chapel. A Cessna flipped while attempting to land at the airport.
The pilot was the only person on board and refused transport.

WESLEY CHAPEL — A single-engine airplane flipped upon landing at a flight center in Wesley Chapel on Friday afternoon but the pilot refused treatment, Pasco County Fire Rescue said.
Authorities responded at 2:50 p.m. to the Tampa North Flight Center, 4241 Birdsong Blvd., after the blue-and-white 1969 Cessna 172K flipped and came to rest upside down, Fire Rescue said. The pilot was the only person on board and refused transport.
The flight center is adjacent to the Pasco County rest area on Interstate 75, just west of the highway.
The identity number on the plane the plane posted on shows it is registered to a Lutz man, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
