Collier County Sheriff’s Office Cpl. Tania Manshadi conducts a preliminary investigation after a small plane crash-landed in Immokalee on Thursday, June 16, 2016.
Deputies say a student pilot from Miami crash-landed his Cessna nose first while practicing take-offs and landings at Immokalee Regional Airport, 165 Airpark Blvd., Immokalee, around 3:30 p.m.
The pilot was not injured in the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have been notified.
