AIRCRAFT ON A REJECTED TAKEOFF, WENT OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY, PORT COLUMBUS AIRPORT, COLUMBUS, OHIO.

COLUMBUS (WCMH) —  Some flights scheduled to come in to Port Columbus International Airport on Sunday were reportedly diverted to surrounding airports due to a small plane with a flat tire on the runway.

The plane landed at Port Columbus, and blew the tire after touching down.

No injuries were reported, but the runway was shut down while crews worked to tow the aircraft from the runway.

Airport officials said individual airlines made the decision whether to divert flights or not.

The aircraft was successfully towed from the runway, and the runway reopened around 12:30pm.
