Plane makes emergency landing at Dublin Airport: Transatlantic Delta flight from JFK experienced “engine problems”

A Delta plane flying from JFK Airport in New York made an emergency landing at Dublin Airport today.

A spokesperson for the airport said the plane, which was scheduled to land in Dublin, landed safely at 9.20am.

It is believed that the aircraft was experiencing problems with one of its engines and that vibrations could be felt by passengers on board.

The spokesperson said the airport’s fire service attended the scene, which she stated was “standard procedure” for such events.

“All passengers were taxied to the terminal as normal. There were no injuries on board,” she said.

A spokesperson for Delta Airlines could not be reached for comment.
