An
aircraft landed safely at the Purdue University Airport today around
2:25 p.m. today after initial reports of a possible landing gear problem
sent emergency ground crews into high gear.
Purdue police
and fire units were sent to the airport as a precautionary measure
around 2 p.m. The plane, described as a Citation jet, made a pass
shortly before landing, at which point the landing gear were observed to
be down.
A Journal and Courier staff member reported the plane landed without incident around 2:25 p.m.
