Manila, Philippines: 10 domestic flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines – A total of 10 domestic flights were cancelled on Sunday due to bad weather.

The cancelled flights are as follows:

NAIA Terminal 3

5J 325 Manila – Legaspi (0605H)
5J 326 Legaspi – Manila (0830H)
5J 821 Manila – Virac (0600H)
5J 822 Virac – Manila (0840H)
5J 196 Manila – Cauayan (0920H)
5J 197 Cauayan – Manila (1140H)
5J 523 Manila – Naga (1215H)
5J 524 Naga – Manila (1430H)

Manila Domestic Terminal (Terminal 4)

Z2 220 Manila – Legaspi (1150H)
Z2 221 Legaspi – Manila (1400H)

Weather bureau PAGASA on Sunday said it spotted a low pressure area (LPA) 470 kilometers east of General Santos City.

PAGASA also said the northeast monsoon (Amihan) and the easterlies, or the winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, are converging over Visayas and Mindanao.

These two weather systems will bring mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Visayas and Mindanao.
