ReplyDelete3 just today. All "loss of control on ground"
ReplyDeleteLots of "loss of control on ground" reports on KR overall in any aircraft on KR the last few months. I'm wondering if it is rusty pilots who were not flying from the lockdown. I remember having to skip about 3 months of flying in my PPL training (student solo with 28hrs) while in college due to a funds issue. It was definitely a set back in my comfort level of my skills and took 3 dual lessons to get back to being comfortable being solo even though I could have been re-qualified for solo with one flight. My instructor said I was good after the first dual flight but my gut said otherwise. People can stop driving cars for years and then get back behind the wheel no problem. Not so with pilots - at least those who know their limitations anyway.
