  4. Could be gear drive. I saw one of these blow the gearbox and immediately land. Pilot stopped plane off runway and got out, while propeller continued to windmill freely. We first thought he forgot to shutdown his engine prior to departing the aircraft. Until he told us what happened. GO 300 was actually a great idea with larger propellor. Performance superior but reliability became and issue. Rebuilding a gearbox today very difficult due to lack of support.
