    Aircraft lost prop during cross country flight from Oshkosh.

    Cruising at 8500 feet heard some vibrations and a thud and then noticed the rpm over speed. The engine shut off soon after that and I realized that I had lost the propeller.
    Luckily was able to make a safe landing on a gravel road between two farms in a small rural town close to Milton Illinois.
