A different type of brew is available at the new Starbucks in Dulles International Airport. Today marked the red carpet roll out at IAD for the latest concept by the coffee giant Starbucks. Starbucks Evenings first DC area and first airport location opened in Terminal B (past security) this afternoon.
Starting at noon the Evenings menu is available. Wines, such as Prosecco, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir, and beer, such as Left Handed Milk Stout, Stella Artois and Blue Moon,
are now options for weary travelers.
Various small plates (truffle mac
and cheese, warmed rosemary and brown sugar cashews), salads (baby
arugula with fresh basil and pickled beets) sandwiches (fire grilled
chicken and goat cheese), flat breads (roasted artichoke, zucchini,
tomato and Parmesan) and desserts (chocolate fondue with
strawberries, marshmallows and cookies) are also a part of the Evenings menu.
There are currently Starbucks Evenings locations in Seattle,
Chicago and Atlanta and Starbucks representatives said this concept
is in a trial period and may expand to other locations.
