HondaJet not coming to Albany International Airport
ALBANY - Plans to bring HondaJet to the Capital Region are now on hold. A spokesman for the Albany International Airport confirms the jet plane maker has pulled out of the deal. The North Carolina-based company announced in 2008 that it planned to build a sales and service center at Albany's Million Air Terminal. The Business Review reports that HondaJet scrapped the $5 million project due to a bad economy and rising construction costs.
