Seems like the West Hampton Beach residents would be against closing KHTO. This airport is designated as a publi...Sorry Folks. This airport is designated as a public use airport that began operation in April 1940. If you didn't want to have airplanes flying overhead, you shouldn't have built your Mega-Million dollar houses in the approach/departure areas surrounding the airport, and then complain about how noisy and disrupting their activity is.
