    I'll be interested to hear why this is a crash. Given that the Lake is an amphibious aircraft,landing in the water is not necessarily bad. Waiting to hear the rest of the story...

      It was REPORTED as a crash, not determined to be one.

      Pilot had minor injuries, suggesting a rough landing. Witnesses at a distance might perceive it as a crash if seaplanes don't routinely land there or the distance from observer made it hard to discern.
